This title is less personal and more fanciful. While highly aggressive, this piece also has some quieter moments and they work together to create a mood of exploration, a sense that fear meets curiosity. In my mind I see vast ancient cities, long dead, long forgotten. The music asks, and answers, “what mysteries do they hold”?
